Make text in detail panel selectable

It’s currently not possible to select text in the details panel. Sometimes, I want to copy and paste content to share with colleagues. For that reason, it would be great if I could select text in the details panel.

Sentiment Tracking for Updates

Enable simple thumbs up/down reactions on changelog entries to measure community sentiment and identify which updates are well-received or problematic, with sorting and filtering based on community feedback scores.

Add a view for bundled releases

It would be great to filter the data by release bundle, so we can see which improvements are included in each bundled release.

Add link to announcement to RSS feed

Each announcement in the RSS feed should have a link to the actual announcement.

Improve PDF rendering

Improve spacing in PDF export.

Add support for detecting when a feature rollout is complete, so users know when changes are fully live and no longer in the “Rolling Out” phase.

Outlook does not render ' in RSS feed correctly

It turns out that Outlook does not render ' correctly in RSS feeds because Outlook uses Microsoft Word as its rendering engine, which doesn’t fully support all XML/HTML entities, including '. Instead we could use ' (the numeric entity), which is safer and works in all major email/RSS clients, including Outlook.

Sort announcements by rollout date

To make it easier to see which items have been rolled out recently, we should order the announcements by rollout date.

Make individual announcements more SEO friendly

Individual announcements are not being picked up by SEO at this stage. We need to make some improvements to make that happen.

Show more metadata on announcements

It would be great to show information around release start and end dates. Unfortunately they are not available on the regular changelog page.

Better mobile support

20% of users access the changelog on mobile. We should better optimize the layout for mobile and make the table view more accessible.

Dark mode

Provide users with the ability to switch between light and dark themes in the Atlassian Cloud app. The theme setting should be accessible from the header menu. The following ooptions should be supported: The dark mode should be optimized for readability and visual comfort, particularly in low-light environments.

Link to "latest" announcements in period dropdown broken

When clicking on the link, the path is missing the base url, leading to an invalid page.

Improve styling of RSS content

Currently each announcement is a list item. Make it paragraphs instead with an H2 for the title of each announcement. We should also improve the styling of the status lozenges, and not display them in all uppercase.

Allow RSS feed to include selected products

The RSS feed contains all updates from the week. It would be great if it would work with the filter setting and only include apps that are selected.

Change URL from atlassian.released.so to a new domain

Due to brand policy reasons we are not allowed to use the atlassian subdomain. We will move the changelog to a new domain.

PubDates in RSS feed are not correct

It shows the same date for all changelogs. Instead it should show the last date of the period for each log entry.

Remember filter state across views and sessions

When viewing another view or change the period, the filter resets. Ideally we would remember the filter state across views and even user sessions. It enables users to find updates to the Atlassian products they own even faster, cutting out all the noise of other product updates.

Support viewing of previous weeks

Right now we only show the announcements of the latest changelog. Add the ability to display changelogs from previous weeks.

RSS feeds remain a popular way to stay up to date with news and product updates and there is currently no way to subscribe to Atlassian updates via RSS.

Add PDF export option for changelog page

Allow users to download the changelog page as a PDF for easy sharing and offline access.

Add CSV export for table view

Enable users to export tabular data from the changelog in CSV format for analysis or reporting.

Add table view with all announcements

Introduce a table view that lists all changelog announcements in one place for easier browsing.

App filter in all views

Add filtering options to view changelog entries specific to a particular app or product.

Caching prevents latest period from loading

The changelog is being aggressively cached, which prevents new changelog updates form loading.
