Feedback assignee

We’re planning to introduce assignees for feedback items. This will allow teams to clearly assign ownership, making it easier to track who is responsible for following up on each piece of feedback.

People and companies

See richer context about who’s giving feedback by surfacing additional metadata about the person and their company. This helps product teams better understand the source, relevance, and impact of each request.

Idea board

A dedicated view where product teams present curated ideas to gather early feedback. Users can share their thoughts and reactions but cannot add new ideas directly, helping prevent an endless backlog and keeping the focus on meaningful, actionable input. Workspace permissions

As we grow to support larger companies, we’re working on enhancing permissions to give admins more control. This includes limiting major changes to settings and managing who can publish content. Permissions will be categorized into global and workspace-level controls to better suit organizational needs.

The Feedback API feature makes it easy for you to create custom integrations and automations that fit your unique needs.

Reactions

Allow users to "react" with emojis to comments instead of having to leave a full reply.

Single Sign On

Allow teams to configure a custom authentication endpoint in their own application. Users logging into the portal via SSO will be redirected to this endpoint for authentication, then returned to the portal with secure access. This creates a seamless login experience for the end users and removes the need for separate portal credentials.

Automate roadmap publishing

Right now, roadmaps in Released have to be published manually. That gives you full control, which is great when you want to fine-tune messaging, but it can feel tedious if you’re making frequent changes and want them to go live more often. We’re exploring two options to improve this: 1. Support for Jira Automation Let you trigger roadmap publishing through Jira automation. This gives you maximum flexibility—define exactly what changes (like a status update or label change) should push updates live.

Enable users to search for ideas on the roadmap.

Allow images to be resized

Images always take up the full width of the available space if they are high resolution. It would be great if the editor allowed for changing the size of images.

Option to only show parts of a post in embedded page

Currently, all release notes are shown in full on embedded pages. When posts are lengthy, this creates a wall of text that makes it difficult for users to quickly scan and find relevant updates. A collapsed view would make the list more navigable, especially for customers with frequent or detailed updates.

Smart replies

AI-powered smart replies that help product managers respond faster and more thoughtfully. Replies are tailored to the context of the feedback thread and your roadmap, so you can avoid boilerplate and keep communication personal without starting from scratch.

Wish list

The Wishlist offers a fresh approach to collecting user priorities without the bias of traditional voting. Each user gets a personal wishlist of 10 items, with the option to highlight 3 as top priorities. Because the wishlist is private, it prevents popularity bias and encourages thoughtful prioritization. If users want to add new items, they must first remove others. Forcing them to prioritize what truly matters.

Swim-lanes (Grouping)

Use swimlanes on your project board to group tasks by team (like Development or Marketing) or by product area (such as User Interface or Backend). This makes it easy for viewers to see who’s working on what and how different parts of the project are progressing, all at a glance.

Comment visibility

We’re adding comment visibility settings to feedback threads. Workspace admins can choose between public and private comments. Private comments are only visible to the author and workspace members — making it easy to collect feedback from multiple customers in the same portal without customers seeing each other’s input.

Show feedback on Jira work items

Surfacing user feedback on Jira items provides additional context during any part of the development lifecycle. In Jira, we are planning to surface the feedback in a dedicated section that can be shown/hidden. We want your feedback Jira Product Discovery lacks integration points into the UI. Our options here are to add feedback as comments or insights. Comments will be clearly marked as customer feedback, to differentiate them from internal comments.

Improve handling of concurrent edits

We’re making it safer to collaborate on content. If someone else edits a post while you’re away, you’ll get the latest version when you return — and a heads-up before overwriting any changes.

Support order by in JQL filter

Some customers want more flexibility in how roadmap items are sorted. Specifically, they’d like the option to sort items by fields such as target date, priority, or other custom fields, rather than being limited to LexoRank.

Support native rich-text field in roadmap items

Today, roadmap text fields are limited to plain text, which restricts teams from adding helpful formatting like bullet points, links, bold text, or inline code or images. This makes it harder to communicate nuanced information or link to supporting context directly from the roadmap.

Changelog analytics

Track and analyze how frequently customers view your changelog, providing actionable insights into engagement and visibility.

Support tables in editor

For updates that require structured information, such as compatibility information, basic table support in the editor would be incredibly useful.

Timeline view

Specifically for internal roadmap communication, dates do matter. Keep everyone in the loop and let them know when ideas get delayed.

Email notifications

With the initial release of email notifications, we will enable users to subscribe to changelog updates.

Add Roadmaps to Embed Widget

To allow users to see the roadmap in-app, we will bring Roadmaps to the embed widget. Users will be able to switch between the Changelog and Roadmaps in the widget.

My feedback list

Users will be able to access feedback they submitted and related conversations via a "My feedback" list in the profile dropdown.

Feedback reply notifications

We’re planning to add reply notifications for feedback threads. When someone leaves a comment, the assignee and anyone involved in the conversation will be notified automatically.

Create feedback via form

We’re planning to enable submitting feedback via a standalone form—so users can propose new ideas, report issues, or share input without needing to link to an existing idea or thread.

Custom domain support

The upcoming feature enables customers to host their Product Hub on their own domain, such as http://hub.example.com, making it easier for customers and stakeholders to find and access.

Support multiple roadmaps in a single portal

Allowing users to create multiple roadmap views, they can create an "Idea board" that shows ideas early on in the discovery cycle.

Product hub / portals

In addition to the current embed options, users will be able to point their customers to a public portal page on a subdomain. No need to wait for a developer to add the code snippets to your website or app to get started.
