  Roadmaps Now Load 10x Faster

  We’ve dramatically improved performance for roadmap views. Previously, loading roadmap items could take up to 1–2 seconds. Now, they load in under 200 milliseconds.

  That means near-instant access to your plans, even for large, complex roadmaps. No more waiting around.

  You can now display Team and Label fields directly on your roadmap items.

  This gives stakeholders more context at a glance — like which team owns what, or how work is grouped by tags.

  Custom sort order for roadmap items

  Until now, roadmap items were always sorted using LexoRank, the same order you see in Jira backlogs. That works for some teams, but not all.

  You can now choose how roadmap items are sorted:

  Sort by target date, priority, or any other field supported by Jira’s JQL ORDER BY syntax.

  This gives you more control over how your roadmap is presented, so it can match how your team plans work internally. For example, you might want to show upcoming work based on due dates, or highlight the most important initiatives first.

  Roadmaps Now Support Jira Rich Text Fields

  You can now bring rich text fields from Jira directly into your customer-facing roadmaps.

  Need to communicate different updates to different audiences? Create separate rich text fields in Jira for each stakeholder group — such as Customers, Sales, or Leadership — and customize the messaging for each.

  In Released, you can choose which field to show on each board. That means every audience sees only the most relevant, clearly formatted information. All pulled automatically from Jira, and kept in sync.
